SUP II

After the first Stand Up Paddling trip I was already excited about the sport. It's a great workout, relaxing at the same time. So I went again a while ago, this time we took another shorter route because storm was coming. In the end we created a campfire and enjoyed the drinks and snacks they brought for us. I'm happy that Nikano organizes these trips in my hometown!

(Unfortunately I don't have pictures of the part were we're all trying to hide underneath the table, trees and SUP boards for the rain haha)

SUP trip


Yesterday evening my boyfriend and I went on a SUP - Stand Up Paddling trip in our hometown. We live near the 'Nieuwkoopse Plassen' (lake area), perfect for sailing, swimming, canoeing etc. part of it is protected area.

I'll definitely want to do this again! Loved being outside, surrounded by silence and beautiful nature and it's a great workout! :)

Longboarding

These pictures were taken just before Holland got covered in snow, I went boarding on a 'sunny afternoon'. I don't have a lot of skills yet hehe.. still feel like I'm a danger for myself AND other people on the road so I stay away from the crowded places and big roads until I have learnt how to control everything and make a normal stop instead of jumping off and screaming ''everybody save yourself out of the wayyy!''
But I really like to practice :) My boyfriend got me into this. I am using his old board since he got a new one. Can't wait for the summer to come!!

Workout videos

Recently I discovered workout videos and how motivating they are! I have played field hockey for about 10 years, but had to quit because of busy school year. I had to find myself an alternative to stay fit & in shape.

Running became my cardio workout and I never thought I would like it this much. It makes me feel strong, helps me to clear my mind and I get a lot of energy from it!
I also made a scheme with workouts for my arms, legs, butt and core. TIP! Most of the workouts are from these victoria's secret videos with Doutzen Kroes. You should check them out!







I try to do all these 2/3 times a week monday till friday + go running in the weekends. In this way I can stay in for the workouts when it's dark & cold outside after I come home from work/school.
